We really enjoy working with Silver Star and their staff. They are professional, responsive and they know what they are doing. When our food truck got into an accident, these were the guys that we wanted to use to get it fixed. They have worked on and fixed a number of food trucks and came highly recommended.
They can be a little more expensive than “the other guy” but you get what you pay for and that means you get very high quality workmanship and materials. They are also really busy, so it can be hard to book an appointment at times, but that just speaks to how in demand they are.
What we really appreciated is that they operate with integrity. When we considered installing roof vents to allow for more air flow in the summer, they were honest in telling us that it probably wouldn’t do much to help. They could’ve punched the holes, charged us for it and let us figure it out on our own, but they didn’t and chose to spare us from spending unnecessarily.

With all of our efforts of late being put towards the reopening of St. Dave’s, the new Food Truck has not been a priority. However, it’s first events are coming up very soon, so yesterday we took a trip to Mississauga to pick it up.
