The coffee truck, or catering truck as we prefer to call it, is the product that defined our business in 1984. The company began building coffee trucks similar in design to Toronto Kitchen Equipment Ltd. At that time the catering truck business was growing exponentially and the market was able to support two major builders in southern Ontario. As the business grew we took on new opportunities and acquired machinery in order to build catering trucks faster and more efficiently. As the last remaining company in Ontario that supports and builds catering trucks we are more efficient than ever. In as little as 6 weeks we can go from a bare cab and chassis to a custom built box installed on the chassis with engine driven refrigeration.
Most catering trucks are similar in design. They all have a refrigerated cold-section, warming oven, and coffee urn. Our designs have always been modular in that each of these components is built and then installed as a unit inside the catering truck body. This modular design has many advantages but the most important is efficiency in building.
As we became more efficient we were able to better control our costs and pass on savings to our customers. Since 1984 we have been able to competitively build catering truck boxes for use all across North America and hold our prices despite increased component and labour costs.
