With our experience in building commercial kitchen equipment such as cabinets, counters, sinks, exhaust hoods, and serving carts as well as the licences, knowledge and experience to work with propane gas, electrical, and plumbing we were a natural fit for building food trailers. We have built well over 1000 food trailers since 1984. In the early 90s we were fortunate to be awarded a major contract for 95 trailers for Loeb. This contract allowed us to work directly with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in order to obtain safety certification for these trailers. Over the years these trailers have changed ownership but they remain fully functional all across North America; some have even made their way to the Caribbean islands such as The Bahamas!
As with any product that is produced in volume it is expected to be built efficiently thus offering cost savings to the customer. We are fully capable of handling large, medium, and small projects with professionalism, confidentiality, and efficiency.
As with any project such as a food trailer there is some design work involved which is required before the project can begin. The design work involves layouts but also includes equipment selection. There will often be revisions to the design and thus revisions to price quotations. These price quotations are always final. We do not build as we go or offer pricing per square foot as some other builders. Once an order has been confirmed and a base trailer has been received you can expect to have your completed food trailer in 6 to 8 weeks time. This of course is dependent on the complexity of the design, the availability of the equipment, and the season in which we are building the food trailer.
Pricing for food trailers ranges depending on what is supplied by the customer. In some cases the customer prefers to supply the base trailer and kitchen equipment. Most often we provide a complete package including the base trailer and kitchen equipment.
