CNC laser cutting machines are quickly becoming a necessary machine for any metal fabricator. These machines are capable of taking CAD drawings and quickly converting them into machine (G) code. These machines typically have a floating head that can cut any design, pattern, or shape in a wide variety of materials. The advantage with these machines is that there is virtually no setup required compared to a punch system. These machines feed a powerful laser beam through precision optics that focuses this beam onto the cutting material. The material is instantly pierced and cut with the assistance of a gas such as oxygen and nitrogen.
Our new CNC laser system is capable of cutting up to 3/4″ steel, 1/2″ stainless steel, and 5/16″ aluminum with an accuracy of 0.0002″ over a sheet size of 60″ x 120″. This exciting new addition to our facility allows us to make high precision parts quicker than ever before.
